What is recorded
Your camera and microphone are recorded from the start to the end of the interview, and the app takes webcam snapshots from time to time. Spoken answers are recorded and transcribed. Your written answers, code and whiteboard drawings are saved.
Camera video
For the whole interview, from start to end.
Microphone audio
Recorded with the video, plus your spoken answers.
Webcam snapshots
Still pictures taken from time to time.
Your answers
Written answers, code, whiteboard drawings and transcripts.
Device details
Operating system, processor, memory and a device identifier.
Connection
Your IP address, and the rule checks of the app.
What the app checks
While the interview runs, the app checks for things the rules do not allow: more than one display, screen sharing, remote access, screen recording or AI assistant apps, windows shown over the interview, virtual machines, leaving the interview window and blocked shortcuts. To do this it looks at the names of running apps and open windows. It does not record your screen and does not open your files.
The interview also stores basic information about this device (operating system, processor, memory and a device identifier) and your IP address.
Why it's collected
To assess your skills
Your answers, code and recording are what the hiring team reviews, in the same way for every candidate.
To keep the interview fair
Snapshots and the app's checks show the hiring team whether the interview followed the rules.
To run the interview
Sending your invitation, checking that your computer is ready and helping when something goes wrong.
How your answers are evaluated
Answers are scored automatically or with the help of an AI model that follows the hiring company's scoring guide. The scores, the AI's notes and the monitoring results support the hiring team: people at the hiring company review them and make the hiring decision.

Who sees your data and how long it is kept
Your interview is available to the hiring company's team. Service providers process it on the company's behalf: AI evaluation, speech transcription, email delivery and cloud storage.
The hiring company decides how long recordings and snapshots are kept; by default they are deleted automatically 180 days after the interview. Scores and the written report are kept until the company deletes them.
